How to report
In an emergency, always phone 999.
If you require an immediate response (non-emergency), phone 101.
Only non-urgent hate incidents should be reported online. You can report hate incidents motivated by hatred or prejudice by:- Phoning 999 (emergency) or 101 (non-emergency)
- In person at any police office
- By contacting a third party reporting centre
Report online to Police Scotland
Help with reporting
Any of the third party reporting organisations will help you if you prefer to report the incident in person or need support to fill in the form. These organisations have been trained to help with the confidential completion of a form and will provide support within the context of their own policies and procedures.
